Alexandra is a Portfolio Manager and Director. She looks after a wide range of clients, including multi-generational UK based families, and particularly enjoys helping with the younger generation's financial education. She specialises in managing portfolios for resident non-domiciled individuals, offshore trusts and structures with complex international tax requirements. She works closely with a range of trustees, consultants, lawyers and accountants specialising in this area. Alexandra is Head of the International Client Committee and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Alexandra graduated from the University of Durham with a degree in History and holds the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. In 2018, 2020 and 2022 Alexandra was included in the PAM Top 40 Under 40. She joined Waverton, now W1M, in 2013 after completing a graduate training scheme at Smith & Williamson.
With over 28 years’ advisory experience, Antonio works holistically with the bank’s most sophisticated and complex clients and their professional advisors to ensure that the full suite of suitable products and solutions are made available to address their complex multi-jurisdictional needs and circumstances. Antonio joined from Barclays Private Bank, where he was Head of Wealth Advisory for Key Clients and Strategic Partners.
Antonio’s focus is internationally mobile ultra high net worth individuals, their families and their Family Offices, as well as UK entrepreneurs and their families as they grow and transition their businesses to the next generation.
Antonio also has significant experience working with clients and trustees on succession planning, asset protection and tax efficient structuring. He also has significant experience in dealing with US clients who are resident outside of the US.
Ben is Head of the Private Office and a Partner of the firm. He has 17 years of experience specialising in advising UK and international UHNW families and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Ben spent ten years as an Investment Adviser focusing on sophisticated investors at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Ben sits on the firm's Private Equity and Charity committees and on LGT Group's UHNW steering committee. Outside the firm, Ben is a Trustee of the Percy Bilton Charity, a former Trustee of One World Media, and acts as an Adviser to a global family Foundation. He is listed among the top Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Advisers recommended by the Spears 500, and was previously named one of the "Top 40 under 40" by Private Asset Manager. Ben holds a BA in Economics from Durham University.
Ben is a Partner and Head of Family Office Services at Lincoln Private Investment Office. He has over 20 years experience advising High Net Worth individuals from a range of backgrounds including entrepreneurs and finance industry professionals.
Lincoln is Wealth Management business that is truly aligned to its clients. The firm has no external shareholders and the Partners invest all of their own personal assets alongside their clients.
Prior to Lincoln, Ben was a senior Director at Barclays Wealth managing a team of Bankers and advising clients. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Ben is also a Trustee of a charity supporting children with rare chromosome disorders and a director of an online retail business.
Colin joined Quilter Cheviot in January 2025 and is a member of the executive committee. He oversees Quilter Cheviot’s UK-based financial planning team and works closely with other executive committee members to support the firm’s multi-channel distribution strategy.
Colin has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within wealth management, most recently as managing director at 7IM. Prior to that, he was managing director of private clients at Close Brothers Asset Management.
David Kilshaw is a Managing Director with Rothschild & Co and Head of Private Client Wealth Solutions. A qualified lawyer and former partner with KPMG, EY and Rawlinson & Hunter, David no longer provides tax advice but works alongside leading lawyers and accountants to help clients craft solutions to their personal and business needs.
Emma is Chief Financial Planning Officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee and the Financial Services Executive Committee. She is responsible for developing the Financial Planning business, whilst continuing to look after private clients and their families.
Emma has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for HSBC Private Bank before joining Bestinvest in 2012. Her award-winning Financial Planning team won Financial Planning Firm of the Year at the 2023 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
In addition to her current responsibilities, she has a passion for financial literacy and enjoys being a mentor to and champion of individuals within the industry. She is a fellow and chartered Financial Planner of the CII.
James began his career in media in 1985 and began focusing on financial services in 1987, specialising in the field of private wealth management, both in the UK and around the world, from 1990 onwards. James founded the business of PAM Insight in 1993, launching and developing specialist publications and events for a range of professional organisations, including the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Actuarial Profession, the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).
He launched Wealth Management magazine in 1997, followed by PAM (Private Asset Managers) and the PAM Awards in 1999. He subsequently launched www.pamonline.com in 2001, www.thewealthnet.com in 2002 and www.eprivateclient.com in 2003. James chairs over 50 annual events for leaders and senior professionals across the wealth management and professional advisory sectors. James has chaired the PAM Awards’ Judging Panel since its inception in 2000.

James started his career as a Private Client solicitor at Macfarlanes LLP and joined JP Morgan Private Bank in 2017 from a leading European Wealth Manager. James is a Trust & Estate Practitioner (“TEP”) and a committee member for the City of London Branch of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (“STEP”), the leading worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. In 2023 James was identified as a “Global Leader” for Private Client Trust & Advisory Services by Who’s Who Legal.
Jamie began his career in financial markets before transitioning into wealth management, where he has spent over 25 years advising High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients. Over the years, he has focussed on wealth planning, providing advice on on tax-efficient structures, pension planning, and estate planning for UK residents, including both domiciled and non-domiciled individuals. As a Chartered Financial Planner, Jamie brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic guidance to his clients, helping them navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term goals.
Jeremy joined HSBC Global Private Banking in 2019 and is responsible for co-ordinating and enhancing the Wealth Planning & Advisory proposition across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The WPA teams across the UK & EMEA regions help clients leveraging all the WPA pillars from Wealth Structuring, Financial Planning, Family Governance, Philanthropy to Family Office Advisory.
Immediately prior to joining HSBC he ran a UK Private Office (“KPO”) where he spent just under 3 years as CEO working with serial entrepreneurs assisting them with all aspects of their personal and business affairs. Earlier in his career Jeremy spent nearly 12 years at UBS Wealth Management where he was Managing Director and UK head of Wealth Planning Advisory. He worked with family offices, entrepreneurs, serial angel investors, hedge fund and private equity principals and assisted them with all aspects of their wealth planning needs. Before working at UBS, Jeremy worked at PWC in their Entrepreneurs and Private Clients and their Tax technical teams.
Jeremy is a Chartered Tax Adviser and holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificates. He has represented the CIOT and British Bankers Association in consultations with HMRC and HM Treasury. Jeremy is recommended by Chambers.
John has more than 23 years’ experience within the financial services industry, with more than 12 years in wealth management. John is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having attained his ACA qualification in 2005. John held positions within PwC, Mercer (part of the Marsh McLennan Group) and Brown Shipley, prior to joining Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) in 2017.
John leads the Wealth Planning business, which encompasses services for Financial Planning, Fund Management, Investment Services, Intermediary Partnerships, Workplace Financial Wellbeing, as well as the Direct Investment Service.
John Williams is Head of Wealth Planning at Citi Private Bank for UK, Jersey, and Israel. In this role, he specialises in advising on wealth structuring and succession planning for Private Bank clients and their families. He works closely with clients’ external advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, to develop a wealth plan based on a detailed understanding of the clients’ circumstances and goals which may involve establishing new structures including trusts, companies, charitable structures, and life insurance. In addition, John leads the Financial Planning Practice for Citi Global Wealth in the UK.
John has over 30 years’ experience working with private clients and their families. He has held senior roles in a number of global private banks including UBS, Credit Suisse, and Barclays.
He is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Having joined PAM Insight five years ago, Katie is now managing editor. In this role she oversees all content and is also responsible for developing new products and initiatives. Day-to-day she also edits thewealthnet.
Katie has experience across both of PAM Insight’s news services – thewealthnet and eprivateclient – which has given her a deep understanding of the private wealth management and advisory industries.
Katie is particularly interested in sustainability and developing the next generation of talent to ensure the private wealth sector continues to flourish in years to come.
Martina joined JH&P in 2012, initially on the investment team, before becoming Chief Operating Officer and a Partner in 2015. She entered financial services with UBS in 2010 after deciding against a career in law. She went on to jointly run the Financial Planning department, moving to her current role in December 2022. As the Head of Wealth, she oversees all commercial and operational aspects of the Investment and Wealth Management arm.
Michelle specialises in providing holistic wealth management services to high and ultra-highnet-worth clients, with a particular expertise in helping US connected clients. Michelle works closely with clients’ legal and tax advisors to ensure efficient structuring ahead of the implementation of wealth management solutions. Michelle started her career in the private client team at Lehman Brothers in the early 2000s before looking after clients at Barclays Wealth, RBC and Julius Baer. She joined Investec in 2021. In 2022, Michelle was named one of the industry's top 40 under 40 HNW Wealth Managers in an index published by industry body: PAM (Private Asset Management). Michelle graduated with an Honours degree in International Business & Economics from Lancaster University and is a CFA Charterholder and German speaker. Michelle is an active member of the 100 Women in Finance network and was previously cochair of the Investec Gender Balance network.
Simon is a Member of the Executive Leadership team at Brown Shipley, heading up the UK Private Banking coverage teams across the South and London. He is member of the Investments & Securities Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute and has been in the wealth management industry for 35 years. As a senior leader within the Private Banking sector, he has worked in a range of client and leadership roles with Aviva, Scottish Widows, Barclays Private Bank and now with Brown Shipley. He enjoys building trusted relationships with his clients and colleagues with a particular focus on accelerating growth initiatives. When not at work, he enjoys a range of family interests, personal hobbies as well as watching most forms of sport and playing golf (badly).
Tom specialises in managing portfolios for a variety of large UK and international private client and charity portfolios.
Tom joined Sarasin in 2006 after receiving his BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol. He has his Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Private Client Investment, Advice and Management qualification (PCIAM with distinction) from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI). Tom became a Partner in 2018. Tom is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Group.
Victoria is a English qualified lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of wealth structuring, tax and litigation.
Victoria has worked in private practice with leading law firms in London and Geneva and for trust companies in Geneva. She joined Barclays Private Bank in January 2026. Before Barclays she joined the Pictet Group as a Wealth Planner in 2011 and later became head of the UK and Europe wealth planning teams.
Victoria has considerable experience with UK tax issues for HNW/ UHNW individuals and their families, and complex international structuring for succession planning and asset protection purposes.
Victoria is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Her mother tongue is English and she is fluent in French.
Vikash Gupta is the CEO and co-founder of VAR Capital Limited, a multi-family office based in London.
He joined VAR Capital from Barclays, where he was part of the Key Clients and Family Offices team within the UK private bank. Vikash was also a member of the Investment Committee of the UK private bank. Before joining Barclays, Vikash was at Booz & Company, providing corporate and M&A advisory services to some of the world’s leading financial institutions. Vikash holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, and bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India. He is also a board member of Spirit of 2012, a not-for-profit organisation set up to keep the spirit of the London 2012 Olympic Games alive.
Will joined PAM Insight 12 years ago and has since worked his way up from news reporter to editor of eprivateclient before being named as senior editor of PAM Insight in 2022. Through this he has developed an extensive network of private client professionals, from lawyers and accountants to trustees and tax advisers.
